At the Cliff Gennarelli Sports-Plex next to Westfield Garden State Plaza. Bring the whole family along with a blankets, chairs, and toys! Featured live entertainment by various musical artists, KTU DJs, and the Paramus School Orchestra.

To ensure the highest level of safety and security, alcohol, glass containers, littering, commercial solicitation and outside vendors are strictly prohibited at the event. All patrons will be subject to screening prior to entering the Sports-Plex. All bags will be inspected prior to entering the Sports-Plex. Patrons who refuse to be screened or have their bags inspected will be denied entry.
Paramus children residents create works of art focusing on each year’s theme to be judged by the Paramus 4th Of July Committee. The children who create the best pieces that best encompass our theme or represent Paramus are then crowned the Mr. & Ms. 4th Of July winners. All students attending any Paramus schools in grades k-4th can participate in our Mr & Ms. 4th Of July Contest!
All entries must relate to this year’s theme (Small Town, Big Hearts… This Is ParamUS) and submitted by June 10th to either The Reid Branch Library at 239 W. Midland Ave or The Paramus Main Library at 116 E. Century Road.
Entries must include students name, address, email, phone number, school, & grade.

General Committee Policies
All parade entries must be suitable for a family audience.
It is the responsibility of each individual organization to provide ample adult supervision for all children involved in their line-up area as well as along the entire parade route.
For the health and safety of our patrons, organizations may not distribute items of any nature at any of our events. The committee has an obligation and priority to our patrons and parade participant's safety when it comes to organizations. Examples: Political literature, candy, flags, etc. Handing out literature in our events takes away the spirit of celebrating our nation's birthday. To avoid littering in our great community, refrain from handing out literature and enjoy our celebration with your families.
Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited in all events
All participants must keep up with the pace of the parade. Failure to keep up will result in removal.
All participants in the parade must complete the parade route.
Drivers of all vehicles in the parade must be licensed operators, parade marshals will be checking all credentials prior to the start of the parade.
Organizations/vendors are prohibited from selling items to patrons at any of our events without the permission of the committee.
Monetary donations/collections for special interest, political, and commercial groups are strictly prohibited.
Patrons, parade participants, and vendors using water guns, pellet guns, fireworks, sparklers, etc. are strictly prohibited at all events.
For security and safety purposes, all bags are subject to search at all events.
The 4th of July committee has the right to revoke an application at any time.
The Paramus 4th of July Committee and Mayor LaBarbiera is excited to officially announce our 2019 Grand Marshal in our Paramus 4th of July Celebration, one of our own Nick Suriano.
Nick Suriano, a Paramus native recently earned the deserving title, Rutgers 1st 2019 NCAA National Champion, went 4-0 to claim first career Big Ten individual title at 133 pounds, amongst other well deserved titles in this year, and continually breaking records!
We are proud to have Nick as our Grand Marshal to represent us on a national level, and excited to have him lead our Parade, based on his dedication, determination, and accomplishments that have shown the true Paramus Pride.
