Parade Info
Friday, July 3 · Kick-off at 9:00 AM
Parade Route
The parade begins at E. Century Road and Farview Avenue, heads north on Farview Avenue, turns east onto Midland Avenue, and ends at Memorial School.
Where to Watch
Spectators can watch from anywhere along the route on Farview Avenue and Midland Avenue. For a great view, head to the grandstand at Christ Lutheran Church on Farview Avenue. Feel free to bring a chair or blanket to set up along the parade route.
Getting There & Parking
Residents can park on the side streets that connect to the route along Farview Avenue — including Harmon Drive, Wyoming Road, Heights Road, Concord Drive, and Arnot Place — then walk a short distance to a spot along the route.
Please note: there is no parking at Memorial School. Be mindful of driveways, no-parking zones, and posted restrictions, and arrive early to allow time to park and walk over before the 9:00 AM step-off.
Road Closures
Road closures will begin as early as 7:00 AM. As the 9:00 AM step-off approaches, roads nearer the route will close progressively, so please plan your route and arrival accordingly. The earlier you arrive, the easier it will be to park and get into position.
Participate in the Parade
Registration is open! Marching groups, floats, and units are welcome to take part.
All participants must complete and submit a parade application in advance and be approved by the Paramus 4th of July Committee.
You cannot join the parade on the day of the event — individuals or groups who attempt to enter the parade without an approved application will be removed from the route immediately, for the safety of participants and spectators.
To apply, fill out our Parade Application Here. Parade Applications are due no later than June 30th 2026.
Event Conduct
To keep the parade safe and orderly for everyone, the following apply to all participants, groups, and organizations, regardless of affiliation or message:
All parade participants must complete and submit an approved parade application in advance. No one may join the parade without prior approval, and anyone who does will be removed from the route immediately.
Participants must follow the directions of parade marshals, police, and event staff at all times.
Vendors, tables, booths, and the distribution of materials along the parade route require prior authorization from the Paramus 4th of July Committee.
Solicitation of any kind is not permitted along the parade route.
A designated area is available for expressive activity, open to all on the same terms — please see event staff for its location.
These rules apply equally to everyone and are intended to protect public safety and the orderly flow of the parade.
